James Dyson on the Lazy Engineering Behind Fake Energy Efficiency

James Dyson on the Lazy Engineering Behind Fake Energy Efficiency

Found this very interesting a interview with James Dyson on fastcoexist.com, the link is below. The main aim of the interview is about "Green Energy". One quote I that stood out for me was as follows "Dyson doesn’t think we need a design revolution if we want to cut energy use and conserve scarce materials. We just need to go back to making durable products, and get people interested in engineering again. The rest should take care of itself". I think he has a very valit point, so what does everyone else think?
